Unbeaten GSA dominates the league

Gwinnett Soccer Academy continues its pursuit of the ECNL G12 team title with strength, maintaining a clean record without losses after eight games. So far, GSA has obtained a total of seven wins and only one tie.  The team has collected 22 points, scored 27 goals, and conceded only five. Their impressive defensive statistics, combined with a plus-22 goal differential, enable them to be feared by every team in the league that will face them.

Just behind are Florida Krush and CESA Liberty. Both teams have collected 19 points and have the same record of six wins, one tie, and one loss. Florida Krush has been solid defensively, and CESA, on the other hand, has scored the same number of goals, 27, as GSA, which demonstrates the efficiency and strength of their offense. GSA and Florida Krush, like GSA, have qualified for the Champions League, creating an intriguing battle for the second position in the league.

Getting outside of the areas of extreme privilege, Concorde Fire Premier stands in fourth position. CF has scored more goals than anybody else in the league, 30. Then comes FC Prime, behind by a point, trying not to lose pace with the competitors.

At the lower end of the standings are Jacksonville FC, with 10 points, followed by South Carolina United and United Futbol Academy at five points. Then Atlanta Fire United, Florida West FC, and Tampa Bay United all have four points. Sitting in the lowest spot is Orlando Pride, which has only managed to earn two points in eight games, scoring five goals and conceding 23 goals.

The fundamental dynamics of the league are unfolding as young talent continues to take to the soccer field during the fall. Due to the several teams being placed within a short distance of one another, the battle for the Champions League qualification spots will be interesting.

Concorde Fire Platinum taste victory to secure league title

Concorde Fire Platinum ECNL B11 sits firmly on top of the U15 division of the Elite Clubs National League Southeast conference. They remain undefeated with 13 wins in 13 games and a 14-point lead above second place.

The Fire Platinum faced their toughest competition last weekend. NTH NASA sat in third place and were only six points behind them when they played on Nov. 1. The Fire Platinum took care of business and put four goals past NTH NASA without conceding. This was their fourth clean sheet this season, and this was only the second time NTH NASA failed to score in a game.

Concorde Fire Platinum played against Atlanta Fire United the next day. Fire United sat in second place and were also only six points behind the Fire Platinum when they kicked off. Once again, Fire Platinum scored four goals, though Fire United managed to score one themselves.

As the final quarter of the season is underway, Fire Platinum has officially clinched the title. Fire Platinum has three games left in its season. They still have to play both Fire United and NASA again, which once again could prove to be their toughest games.

The battle for second in the southeast conference is now the more exciting storyline now that Concorde Fire Platinum secured the title.

Georgia Players Step into National Training Camp Spotlight

The U16 boys’ age group in Georgia is gaining national attention, as U.S. Soccer is holding a domestic training camp from April 27 to May 4 in Fayetteville, Georgia. Full roster announcement here. The camp brings together 24 of the country’s most promising players born in 2009, giving Georgia athletes a rare opportunity to experience the national team environment close to home. Over the week-long session, participants will train under U.S. Soccer coaches, face top-level competition and learn the technical and tactical standards expected at the national level. For Georgia’s U16 players, the camp provides a concrete example of how strong club and state-level performance can open doors to national recognition and the pathway to future U17 World Cup selection.

What makes this event particularly compelling is that it highlights the strength of Georgia’s youth soccer development system. Hosting the camp in the state allows local players to participate without the added challenge of long-distance travel, and it may signal that U.S. Soccer views Georgia as a hub for emerging talent. Coaches and clubs can use the camp as a benchmark to evaluate and improve their training programs, while younger players gain motivation and inspiration to elevate their own play. With national selection and the U17 World Cup cycle on the line, the camp is more than just a week of training; it is a crucial step toward elite competition. Strong performance could place players on the radar for future national teams, making the months leading up to the camp a key period for focused skill development, tactical refinement and mental preparation. For Georgia’s U16 boys, this event represents both a challenge and a clear opportunity to advance in the national program.

NASA holds top spot as Georgia clubs dominate ECNL Southeast race

The U17 boys’ teams in Georgia are in full swing for their 2025 fall season. There has been interesting movement in the southeast ECNL region as the high-level teams have now all played each other multiple times. Recently, the No. 1-ranked NASA U17 boys team tied 2-2 with the Concorde Fire Platinum ECNL team on Nov. 1. The very next day, NASA U17 played Concorde Fire Premier, where it defeated them 10-0. NASA and Concorde Fire continue to prove why they are the top boys U17 ECNL programs in the southeast. But in the top five, there has been a move where United Futbol Academy has jumped up to the No. 2 spot. The only match that United Futbol Academy has played in November was against the No. 4-ranked GSA ECNL team.

Rounding out the top five in the southeast region is a South Carolina team to balance out the four Georgia teams: SC Surf. The rest of November has a large amount of action for the U17 ECNL boys with No. 1-ranked NASA playing home games against Concorde Fire Premier and Concorde Fire Platinum this weekend, as well as SC Surf on Nov. 23.
